WalKingTek provides monitoring and control solutions for a variety of markets including off-highway vehicles, construction machinery, agricultural machinery, commercial vehicles, yachts, and marine machinery. Q: What advantages does your company culture provide the marketplace?
It is our company’s corporate culture to clearly understand our own abilities, but also be unflinching and not too aggressive. At WalKingTek, we strive to understand our customers, study our competitors, and know ourselves. Putting ourselves into the customer’s position is one of the core competencies of our company. As the Chinese saying goes, “Know the enemy and know yourself, and you can fight a hundred battles with no danger of defeat”. We need to figure out the demands of our customers and learn about their products, technical routes and development trends. The competition is one of our motivators to our development.
Q: What unique needs do your customers have and how do you solve them?
When communicating with different customers, we focus on their key demands and provide them with customized systems. Even for the simplest engine control system, we also provide one specific solution based on the actual application. We are committed to offering the best system at an optimal price. Not only can we shorten the debugging time of a prototype, but the after-sale services can be effectively reduced as well.

Q: What trends do you find important for 2021 and how do you use Murphy products to address those needs?
Emission upgrading will come to China’s off-road market in 2022. At this stage, engine after treatment solutions are not exactly same, which means that products meeting National Stage IV emission regulations, such as displays or instruments, will be a key demand. At the moment, our configuration based on PV380 and PV780 have essentially completed emission testing for several major engines used in China.
Q: Why do you tell your customers to use Murphy products?
We are the system integrator of Murphy by Enovation Controls products in China. We have been engaged in promoting Murphy products since the establishment of our company. High quality, thoughtful features, and the ability to work in rugged environments are the core strengths of the Murphy brand.
Q: How does your company conquer complexity by integrating Murphy products into system solutions (i.e. programming expertise, service after sale, etc.)?
Our founding team has more than ten years of application experience in electrical control systems in the off-road industry. We are familiar with the demands of the control systems of most off-road equipment. In our time working with Murphy products, we have learned that Murphy products can satisfy both a customer’s individual and diversified demands. When we encounter new technical problems, we work with Murphy’s technical support engineers in China to solve them.
Q: What is the most interesting use of Murphy products you have seen a customer use?
We have interesting projects with the PV780. This display has been used as a central control module for a mining truck. End-users love its sunlight viewability and beautiful user interface design. Also, the PDM’s high-load drive ability, easy-wiring, and diagnosis detection saves customers a lot of time and trouble that is caused by complicated wiring and burning failure of other electrical components.

The Murphy brand and Murphy products absolutely help us a lot. At the same time, Murphy’s core values have proven to be effective and play a role in guiding our business activities.
