If PC is left and the display goes to sleep ( but windows is still running), then you get the error ' Powervision executable has stopped working' and you lose any programming since last save . It never did this in 2.3 or 2.6.

This issue is caused by a bug in PowerVisions algorithm for searching for displays. When PowerVision is left without a display connected, after a few hours (depending on your PC's memory) it will cause an exception. You can get around this by turning off Hardware Polling when not connected to a display.

We are preparing a PowerVision 2.7 Patch 1 and it will include a fix for this bug. We expect to be able to release something in the next week with this fix and a few other fixes and small features.
