Leading Zeros

Post by MikeEasterling » Tue Jan 13, 2015 9:45 am

It appears that 2.7 has removed the "Leading Zeros" from the Text Gauge Properties to the right of the Page Designer screen.

I use it to view a digital value such as RPM or Engine Hours to make sure i've centered the parameter within the placard on the configuration. Once i know that it's asthetically centered and that it can handle the proper number of value places, ie: can handle 9,999.9 hrs or 99,999.0 hrs, i drop the Leading Zeros back to normal of 1 prior to uploading the final finished configuation for the customer.

I use it purely as my reference.

Now, in 2.7, i'm back to guessing if it's centered...

Why was it removed and can we please get that put back in the Powervision?

Hello MikeEasterling,

Thank you for your question!

Are you using the latest version available on the forum? It is 2.7.10475, the patch 4 release.

If I understand your question, the Leading Zeros setting may be found by clicking on the Show Advanced button on the lower right corner of the Properties panel. This will display ALL of the properties that may be set for the particular widget. The number of property settings has grown so the Show Advanced has been added to show the most used properties and hide the properties that aren't as basic.

If you are looking for something different, please let me know and will try to help.
