PV380 with PVAA20 Issue

Post by jbilleter » Tue Jun 06, 2017 10:27 am

PowerVision 2.8.10546
Windows 10 Pro
PV380-R2

Using the MSTD PV380 configuration:

Configuration 2.8.12002.03
Boot Loader 2.8.10005.01
Firmware 2.8.10040.00

I have a customer who has uses the PV101, PV1000, PV750, PV780, and now the PV380, and has always used the PVAA20 audible alarm with their set up. They put together two machines and we found that the audible alarm is not working with the PV380. I set up a test in house and simulated using CANCapture. On power up, the gauge does the initial beep, but will not sound off for an amber or red fault. I connected an oil pressure PVA gauge in series with the audible alarm and the gauge will show data but the alarm will not work.

Is this something that can be fixed with urgency? Thank you.

Here are the changes that can be made to the MSTD PV380r2 configuration to fix the PVAA audible alarm. They are not ready to release the configuration and we only gave these changes a quick test so please verify that making these changes work correctly for you.
