FYI,
When using ^C in any part of the parameter mapping on the J1939/NMEA parameter page, the clipboard is being filled with what looks like the all record: Long name, type, ... then when you paste, the content of the clipboard is dumped into the field you are editing. This happens even if you highlight and select portion of the field like part of the longname. it does this even if you select the Max value value Copy then paste to another record. Then the all string is being dumped into the field...
I like the idea of being able to duplicate a field to reduce typing but the paste should fill the different field properly. I would expect this to happen if I select the whole record instead of the content or portion of a field.

Thanks for bringing that to our attention. I will take a look at it in the next release.

In the mean time, you can use the right click Copy and Paste functionality to copy and paste selected text from cell to cell.
