i want set up a ModbusTCP Client with an USB-Ethernet adapter on the PV780T. Is this generally possible or do i have to use the serial(RS485) port?
I made a Modbus Device setup with two Remote Servers and i try to send out the registers with the function "start refreshing mapping group".
Is this the only way to send out registers, which function should i use?
Which ipAdress should i give the USB-Ethernet adapter, fix Address or DHCP?

Here are some screen shots for configuring ModbusTCP. I've not done it before so this information is from the test engineers. The screen shots show the PowerVision configuration and configuring Mdbus on the PC. From what they tell me the PC firewall configuration may have to be changed to allow the connection. You probably will have to download the pdf files to get a better look at them.

I tried your settings with a Modbus-PC-slave (server) but i got the server-communication-status 0x81 back. What means this, where can i decode the state?
Maybe its helpful if i use the same Modbus-server, do you have a download link for the TCP.Slave.cfg?

The 0x81 is a NO CONNECTION. Here is a document with the exception and status codes and the Mdbus configuration files.

Yes, on a PV780T ModbusTCP uses the USB Ethernet dongle.
