Multi-select to change a group of gauges

Post by mthill » Thu Feb 03, 2011 12:46 pm

I want to change the label font on all gauges in a screen. I can of course select them one at a time and make all the changes but this is tedious to say the least. I can select multiple gauges at once (and can move them as a group), but changing any of the parameters only affects the first gauge selected.

Is there a way to do this? Am I missing something?

The question could be generalized to include changing any parameter of a selected set of elements (needle length, size, label size, etc).

If it can't be done, please consider it a feature request.

Thanks. This is a pretty common request that I have heard from people building configs (including myself). The ability to edit properties on multiple objects at once is coming in a future release. It will not be in the upcoming release (Version 2.2) but is completed and will be part of a set of usability changes which we are targeting for release in late spring/early summer time frame.
