Depth Calculator

Hi All

Please can you help me out how would i right a program that would do the following.
Use a proxy to calculate depth. Say you have a gear with 10 teeth on and a chain on the gear connected to a shaft that turns the gear how would you calculate the depth.

Hello Marcell,

If the relation of revolutions to distance (depth) traveled is constant you can use a formula similar to this example that calculates the vehicle distance traveled from the shaft speed:
