I have two custom PVA gauges being driven by mapped values from custom J1939 parameters. The issue is that they do not move smoothly. The have a clocking motion where they update with a regular period, something a little less than 1 second. The J1939 parameters are being transmitted every 100ms.

The concern is that somehow I'm overloading the modbus with all the J1939 parameters being sent out regardless of what gauges are attached. There don't seem to be any settings that I am able to modify. Data on the screen updates quickly and smoothly.

Could you send us more information on the system you have set up?

Which PVA gauges do you have connected?
Using a PV750 or PV450?
Any possibility of sending us a capture of your CAN data?
