Lost Variable Reference

Post by tthomas » Wed Mar 30, 2011 10:04 am

Version 2.1
PV750
Windows XP

The reference to a J1939 variable in a user defined variable calculation was lost (possibly by some 1939 database reconfiguring). The reference was replaced with "6c00b27d-6f8a-4a57-96ab-c6c994006c1f". When looking at the expression in the expression editor it correctly identifies it as an improper variable name. When the project was created, it did not alert to the improper reference.

Can the calculation expressions be included in the warnings when creating the projects?

This is an error that slipped into our standard configurations. Starting in 2.2 we catch these. You can simply delete the expressions that show in the warning list.
