Calculation issue

Post by verschuren » Thu Dec 17, 2015 8:49 am

Hi,

I'm trying to do some simple calculations, but I'm not getting this to work. I'm sure I'm missing something small here. I have 5 service reminders in my configuration. It's based on the standard PV450 config. I would like to combine those 5 warning into one generic reminder with an image widget and later with a popup screen.

I would appreciate some input on this.

Thanks!

Hello Mario,

I believe there is a variable, ServiceNotificationVisible, that is used to do something similar to what you are trying to do.

The expression you show looks valid. The Expression Editor should tell if it can't find a variable or doesn't understand the expression.

Is your Service PopUp variable used in the Visible Condition property? When is the Calculate ServicePopUp event fired?

At least one of the ServRemInterval[n] needs to be something other than 0 and you need to be receiving the engine hours from the network. I always get confused when I work with the Service Reminders.

You are right, it must be some detail that you are overlooking, from what I can see, it looks fine.

Hi Sara,

Thank you for pointing me out to the existing variable. I will also test a little bit more with the calculation. I didn't have engine hours on my network, but can simulate those easy. I hope with the help of your pointers I will get that to work as well!

Thanks!
