Internal DM1 for PV350/380

Post by mbowdich » Thu Jul 25, 2013 1:42 pm

Does internal DM1 not work on the PV350/380? I tried a sample configuration where I set the 5 internal variables (SPN, FMI, Lamp, Port, SA) then trigger SetInternalFault, but it does not trigger a DM1 message at the display (active faults still shows 0).

They should work. Let's looks at a few things.
Which build of PVCS 2.6 are you using?
When you say active faults still shows 0 do you mean the variable Dm1.TotalFaultsInList?
Do you know if the event Dm1.NewActiveFaultAvailable is firing?

PVCS 2.6.20023 OEM
Yes, I mean Dm1.TotalFaultsInList
Dm1.NewActiveFaultAvailable does not appear to be firing. I used the standard murphy PV350 configuration (downloaded from forum) and added a state machine that sets the internal variables and triggers the DM1.SetInternalFault on a timer.

I just threw together a quick configuration that is stripped down. I have verified that Dm1.NewActiveFaultAvailable is not triggered after Dm1.setInternalFault is set.

Hi,

Just wanted to get an update on the Internal DM1 issue. Do you still see that issue or is it fixed after you installed the correct app and did a full install.
