I have been having a couple of customers asking me if it would be possible to get maps onto the displays with navigation through the SD Card port on the PV780's as I know in 2.3 with the HV700 you could use the map widget and use the marine maps on the display with a nema antenna for the GPS positions but it was only on the HV700. I would really like to start using for example Garmin maps or something like that which has street names and so on that I can integrate into the display either through the can bus. or use a video input from a device and send commands to the interface with the rs485. I would really appreciate it if I can get feedback on this issue as I have a couple of customers which are interested in having navigation on the different displays.
