i recieved a request from our customers, they want to know if it is possible to connect to the screen either the PV750 or PV450 via the internet and if possible what is need and also what would the price be for the extras. And then will you be able to download the fault codes from the displays aswell as upload new info to the screens please let me know of any sugestions

Many things are possible with the display - including setting up a simple browser if we were commissioned to do so. We often do customization work as well. We will add features when we realize the usefulness to many or most customers, or we may add them as part of a project that customers pay for directly.

What you need to do is contact your Murphy rep and discuss what is needed.

Well in RSA the Mines here all want to be able to know exactly what is wrong with the machines for instance if it stands for overheating or something wrong with the engine side of things or anything that is connected with the display they would want to see and that is why i am asking on the forum because i do all the screens in south africa and that is the most common question i get is if they can access the screen remotely to update the data and so that they can pull the diagnostic fault codes daily to see what happen between the shift changes of the opperators and how long the machine just stands and idles for without working. What i would like is if there is a shutdown message or the machine is switched off that a warning can come up on the screen that can show the machine is standing for what ever reason it is standing i would be happy if it can work like the intellimine system where it shows why it is standing but that is because the opperators type in whatever they want so if there is some one i can contact and speak to please let me know eiether by email or on my mobile email address is marcell@ecs-sa.co.za or mobile is +27718758502

Thanx but that still doesn't answer my question i want to know if its possible and if anyone has tried it already so can anyone let me know if its possible to do datalogging from your screen at any given time through the internet
