I am having difficulties in executing the config developed by the new tool ( 2.1 version). I opened my test config in the new tool and compile (create) and loaded it to the device. After the reboot the device is stuck at the logo screen. I then tried loading the "Murphy Standard Configuration 2.1" and got the same result. I was able to load a config developed by the older (2.0) version tool and it works fine. I suspect the OS on my device may be causing the issue. The OS was updated when Robbie Schrock was here. My device has the following version of software read from a working loaded config.
OS - 2.0.4.
Bootloader - 2.0.4
Application - 2.010

Re: Problems updating display using with 2.1 Configuration T
The 2.0 version of firmware needs to be upgraded to support the 2.1 configuration tool. This is something that you can do yourself. After generating your config, select the button labeled Full, in the upper right tool bar. This will create a file that you can copy to a USB drive. The file needs to be renamed to update.tar.gz.
You can enter the loader screen by holding the two keys on the lower right of the unit while cycling power. The easiest way to do this is to power the unit off, hold the two keys, turn the unit on while holding the keys. Insert the usb thumb drive and then press the button on the lower right indicated by the green arrow.
After installing the new file, the unit will reboot running 2.1 software. Reinstall the Ethernet adapter and use the config tool as you were with 2.0.
