Primitives

Post by dmsellers » Mon May 19, 2014 2:20 pm

1.) Configuration Studio 2.7.10319
2.) Display - PV350/PV380

I'm trying to create a 'bezel' surrounding a rotary gauge by using an ellipse under the Advanced Features:Foreground Primitives gauge property. Even if I set the ellipse fill colors to transparent in the development tool, the ellipse will show up as a solid fill once loaded into the display. A rectangle seems to work as expected only showing the outline if I program it to be transparent. Am I missing something?

Thanks,
Dan

Hi Dan,

You are correct something is missing in the tool! The tool should have Background Primitives to do what you are trying to do. This is a bug. It will be logged and the fix will be in a future release.

Today, in order to do what you are trying to do, you can try putting an ellipse behind your radial gauge. Two separate objects.

Sorry for any inconvenience. Thank you for bringing this to our attention.
