2.9.10437 OEM Default data directory has no effect?

Not sure whether this is connected with the new style front end to 2.9 but the default directory setting doesn't seem to be used any more? The "Browse other locations" button just points back to the original default directory (in Documents) regardless of the actual path saved.

Hi Rob,

Good question.

The Local tab on the Open view should show the configs in the Default Data Directory link. When you change the Default Data Directory, it will most likely change the list of configs you see on the Local tab. This is what was the DBs folder in previous versions of PowerVision. Most likely this tab will go away. I'm not sure what will happen with the Default Data Directory.

The Browse other locations will show the last place you saved something.

The Default Data Directory link doesn't change anything on the Recent tab. If you hover over the file names on the Recent tab, it will show you the path to the file.

Templates are contained within PowerVision and are not affected by the Default Data Directory.
