PV750 Drives PVA gauges

Post by twang » Wed Mar 28, 2012 12:01 am

Hi ,

As we know, PV750 can drive PVA gauges by default SAE J1939. If the prarmenters are not SAE J1939 broadcasted by ECU , can PV750 drive these PVA gages?

In other words, if engine speed is measured by CANOpen or by MPU input, can our PVA20-T-3000-AB be driven by our PV750? If yes, could you show me a demo file ?

thanks.

Hello Terry,

The PV750 drives the PVA gauges directly from J1939 messages.

Terry,

You need to convert the signal to J1939 before it goes in the PV750 with an XM500, MeCAN, or similar device.
