What is Error 401?

Post by BrianMunari » Wed Mar 19, 2014 10:54 pm

I created a simple config and flashed via USB stick.
It then shows a folder with red "401" and then provides a link to this forum.

However, I can't find a way to "search" the forums.

So, two questions:
1. How can someone search ALL the forums for certain keywords?
2. How do I fix my error?

Here is what I have:
PV450
Ver 2 3 20006 Release
Part 78700436

Powervision Studio
2.7.10319

A 401 indicates that you have a corrupted file your trying to load. Make sure you haven't done anything to the file such as uploading it somewhere. Also make sure its named without any special characters. If in doubt, name it update-full.tar.gz

This could be a few things but to diagnose, I would start over with a blank configuration and create a full install from the tool. This should allow you to get the apps and os on the unit. If that doesn't work, please contact our Tech Services group and they can assist you with getting it working or replacing the unit. http://www.fwmurphy.com/technical-suppo ... quest-form

To search a single forum, go to the forum main page and enter your query on the search box. We don't currently have a search that crosses all forums but a search in this forum and the knowledge base will get everything related to displays and powervision. I will also take a todo to look into adding a global search page.
