There is a ‘Shut dowm’ action in the CCM from the Application and Action, What is it used for? In Tool 2.1.10741.

The Shutdown action reboots the PV750. Sometimes, depending on your configuration and situation, it's the easiest way to a known state.

There are times also that a reboot is required in order to change some settings. Off the top of my head, I know for sure you must reboot after changing the CAN termination resistor settings on the PV750 for the change to take effect.

Shutdown will also shut off the display if it is called after the ignition signal is removed. Through some testing, this only works with the 2.1 patch installed and with boot loader 2.1.1 on the display.
