Is Murphy Connect compatible with products outside of the PowerCore product family?
No. The Murphy Connect system was specifically designed to work with very little setup with a PowerCore controller. Other products were not incorporated into the design of the software.

Is the look and design of the Murphy Connect website customizable?
No. The website portion of Murphy Connect was designed to be easily used in conjunction with the standard PowerCore offering. Please discuss with your Enovation Controls account manager for large opportunities.

What cellular carrier is used with the Murphy Connect unit?
The carrier used as of March 2019 is Verizon for all U.S. based operation.

Can I start or stop a PowerCore controller using Murphy Connect?
Yes, a start and stop command is sent via the Murphy Connect to the PowerCore controller once a user clicks on start on the equipment page. This is only achievable when in Auto mode of operation.

Can an engine be throttled using the Murphy Connect?
Yes. As long as the controller is in its auto mode of operation and the controller is set to auto throttle then a user is able to set desired running loaded speeds from the equipment page.

How many gauges can be viewed in the online interface?
There are 12 gauges that can be selected to show on the equipment page by an admin user in the EZ Setup section. The gauges are: Engine Speed, Battery Voltage, Engine Oil Pressure, Engine Temperature, Fuel Level, Discharge Pressure, System Level, Ambient Temperature, Engine Boost Pressure, DEF Level, DPF Soot Level, and Engine Hours.

Can I see my Service Reminders set in the controller?
Yes. If you are using Service Reminders in the PowerCore controllers, an admin level user can select to show the Service Reminders remaining hours section in the EZ Setup section.

Do I need to setup my customer’s Murphy Connect units for them?
No. It is recommended you setup the first site and user for your customer and walk them through the website. However, once the initial site is set up the customer can add additional Murphy Connect units on their own with little work.

How do I know if my Murphy Connect is running and connected?
Refer to the installation or operations manual for performing troubleshooting using Wi-Fi troubleshooting. To perform troubleshooting, you will need to connect to be within Wi-Fi range of your powered Connect unit and connect to the network called CONNECT_xxxx (where  xxxx represent the last 4 digits of the serial number of the unit ). If the troubleshooting guide does not help, please check your RS485 wiring to ensure A and B are not swapped.
