Enovation Controls was proud to once again sponsor the annual Adaptive Waterski Clinic at Ski Paradise Cleveland in Cleveland, Ohio. This inspiring event, supported by our very own employees Joe Guinter and Mike Loufman, has been a long-standing tradition of bringing the thrill of waterskiing to individuals of all abilities.
Guinter shares, “We partnered with 3 Trackers of Ohio, a local organization dedicated to promoting adaptive recreational sports for individuals with various physical disabilities. We provide our facilities, boats, and volunteers, while 3 Trackers brings the specialized equipment and trained professionals to fit the participants to the waterskis. Participants range from kids with special needs to local Armed Forces veterans to anyone impacted by a physical disability.”
Loufman added, “This year alone, we welcomed 34 participants with the support of nearly 50 volunteers over two action-packed days.”
Through our Employee Engagement program, Enovation Controls helped cover essential costs, including fuel for boats and jet skis, and an ADA-compliant restroom, ensuring that every participant could enjoy the weekend with ease and comfort.
Reflecting on the experience, Guinter shared, “We had an amazing weekend serving our local community. With perfect weather, we achieved a record number of participants on the water. The VA of Northeast Ohio even brought a busload of people, along with their physical therapists, to help with equipment fitting. We also had a record turnout of volunteers from the watersports and adaptive sports communities. The smiles said it all, from veterans, children, families, or volunteers, everyone left with joy in their hearts.”
